The Friday Five, a few days late
Sorry for the delay in this post, but with the holiday last Thursday and a viral bug that I have been fighting for two weeks, it became impossible to find the time to get this together. My sincerest apologies. 
This week I decided to try something new and pick a dress that I would not normally wear. I tend to stay away from floral prints, but every once in a while there is a piece that I just cannot get enough of and this dress happens to be one of them. I added basic accessories as I feel this dress is a statement piece that I wouldn’t want to overwhelm with too many bold accessories. One thing that I couldn’t help but want to add was a large belt to add definition to the waste-line. I am a small gal and think this dress may be a bit too baggy on me if it weren’t belted. As I sit creating this post, I imagine this dress being worn on a bright sunny day so I chose to add a pair of over-sized sunglasses which are a daily must for me as long as the weather permits. I think a bright colored pair of sunglasses would compliment this dress as well, but I personally tend to stick to neutral tones so I chose black. To finish off the “Friday Five,” I chose a fun pair of peep-toe pumps and a fun black cocktail ring.
