The Friday Five
This week I decided to go back to the usual format as I was making new Polyvore sets for a contest recently and found a new outfit combination that I just can’t get out of my head. I decided to create a set with a Springcart clutch for all of you as the latest “Friday Five.”
I better start off by saying that I am not at all a girl who likes small handbags or clutches. Every time I go out for a night on the town, I feel lost without all of my life in my bag. It’s like my “baby-blanket,” but for an adult.
As you saw in my bio, I carry a million and one lip products and on any given day, I may use one, all or none. You just never know what your mood will be so why not carry them all. I was browsing Springcart the other night and fell upon the Sari Envelope Clutch. It is a perfect size clutch that would allow me or others similar to me, to carry a little bit more than what a “normal” sized clutch would allow. I couldn’t look at any other color. This particular red tone lured me right in. I fell in lust.
Recently, you more than likely have seen lots of bloggers posting about the latest trend of colored denim. While I have yet to purchase a pair, I have fallen in love with the combination of colored denim and leopard print. To be honest, I have become obsessed with leopard print and colored clothing items combined, period. These red jeans and the leopard print pumps really add that extra something to the outfit.
I know some of you are in colder weather climates during the winter months so you would need to add a sweater or jacket to this outfit, but I liked the look of a basic pocketed t-shirt with the jeans and pumps. This way you don’t take away or add too much to the outfit.
Last, but certainly not least, I like the look of a red lip, but do not wear it often. I feel that you could definitely pull it off with this outfit as a whole, however, I prefer a more nude lip and this MAC Lady Gaga Viva Glam is one of my favorites. I stopped wearing it for a while and almost threw out what I have left in the tube, however, decided to keep it and I am so glad I did. I would have regretted that one.
What are your favorite prints or trends out right now? While I know leopard is likely the most popular, there have been some zebra and others popping up as well. I’d love to hear from you all, take care and have a fabulous weekend!
